Jessica Capshaw is an actress, mother, and environmentalist. She is a graduate of Brown University and has studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
Currently, Jessica starts on the hit ABC show, Grey’s Anatomy, where she plays pediatrician Dr. Arizona Robbins.
Off the screen, Jessica is a mother of two – a son, Luke, and a daughter, Eve. While Jessica always led a green lifestyle, she says that becoming a mom has made her more aware of the impact of the environment on her health and her children’s health.
“The fact that I could use something that might harm [my children] just brings the whole thing home,” Jessica told People magazine. “All of a sudden I did everything better – I ate better. I was better to myself.” This included making better food choices and cutting out products that were toxic and products that might be toxic.
